Just saw it. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I loved that they didn't go completely CG with the zombies, just when they needed a lot of them.

Brad Pitt did the movie because his kids asked him to do it. They thought it would be cool. Thats the rumor anyway.

Overall it was entertaining, and yes because my expectations were low (it is a zombie movie afterall), i was sufficiently entertained. I rank it my second highest favorite zombie movie, and I only have 2. I am Legend and this.

really? Isn't Plan B his production company?

I liked it a lot. I did not like nearly sh1tting my pants when that zombie showed up in the apartment building.

No the real question is how plausible is it that Brad Pitt who have such a fug ugly wife like that?

Would've been a much better ending just reading it I got pissed at the soldier guy telling me to start a new life.

I dunno. It seems a little too much like the love triangle in The Walking Dead to me.

Damn. I would've preferred this ending much more...I was a bit confused as to why Matthew Fox had such a minimal role when watching it this weekend.

Really enjoyed the film. Currently reading the book and as always it is interesting to see the differences and how the director/writers/production company has decided to portray the story.

Another movie that shares little with the book on which it is based.

Oh, sure. I agree with you. The book, as it was, would have been a bit of a snooze-fest on film. Most of it was inner monologue and flashbacks.

EDIT: this brings up a good point--I'm not sure why people get all upset when movies diverge from the original book/source material. I thought it was very interesting how many people got upset at the Les Miserables movie because it wasn't exactly like the stage musical.

I thought the same thing too - plain Jane. Then again, maybe he's trying to come off as an average joe in the movie

Totally agree. They're different mediums, so it makes sense they're different. I just think ppl like to talk about how "The book/play was soooo much better." Yeah, we get it, you read. Congrats. Haha

I read the book and still enjoyed it despite it being fairly different. Though there are similar elements, the book is written in such a unique journalistic style that I wasn't expecting it to be same. The movie was made to be based off some of the events in the book and I am assuming that they will release a sequel using some of the parts that were missing from the book...
