Ebay VMR V710 Reps?

I found these wheels which look a LOT like vmr v710s except they're about half the price.. I'm thinking about getting them just to see if they're any good.

is 18 x 8 et 40 a good size for e46's im kinda new to wheels here.

I'd be happy to have a mod delete the other poll thread because I think I may just get these.

Yeah, nothing quite like some half-priced wheels of questionable workmanship that will crack at the slightest pothole.

Get some real VMRs.

Ebay VMR V710 Reps?

Those look nothing like my V710s IMO, in the description it says HONDA. That should tell you everything you need to know. Here's what real v710s look like

Haha okay I've decided. I'm gonna make my own version of these. I'm gonna base them of the reps of the reps of the real vmr's. there may be a bit of a learning curve but ill be using the fireplace in my living room and a chain saw. Ill let you know how it goes! Hopefully I have some decent v710 reps by the end of the process

I've seen countless threads (not exclusive to this forum) where VMR wheels have been irreparably bent from your average pothole.

My V710 replicas are made in the US. Downtown Toronto potholes, and 1 head-on encounter with a curb didn't damage them in the slightest.

That said, the universal bolt pattern on these Ebay wheels looks hideous can cheap.

$1200 with new Yokohamas. Installed and balanced. Local wheel and tire shop, advertized on Kijiji.

Also, I'm not making this shit up, here are the prized VMRs failing once again: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=994858

That guy hit a curb or pothole hard enough to compress the tire into the wheel. That would happen on any wheel.

You know what I think the issue is? It's the fact that there are so many VMR wheels out there on our cars. Of course you'd see the most stories about them.
