it's a toss up between burgers and dogs or ribs. slaw and tater salad are a must though. I have been on a rib kick lately, but I haven't had a good home made burger in a while... come to mention it I haven't had a good steak either... decisions.....

I really don't have a single clue as to the many diffrent cuts of steak but I love steak. One question I have is why do people purchase the expensive cuts? Is it because it is more tender than the cheaper cuts? Is there also a taste difference? I would like to be more informed the next time I'm in the supermarket for steaks, because I have no clue which to buy.

when in doubt, & if not well-versed on steaks,... you NEVER go wrong w T-bones. grab a pack of 2, marinate them in a BBQ sauce (I prefer to just marinate in fridge w/ no sauce, but w/ course-cut garlic - not crushed, too potent - & coarse sea-salt sprinkled (no sh1t salt) + sprinkled Montreal Steak spice,...& butter,..yes, butter,...still hard, but smeared both sides...trust me).

Then, when time comes,...high heat (I use nat-gas for convenience, i know i know),.....then a smidge of hickory BBQ sauce each side, 1-2 sear turns only (must be HIGH heat before steaks r thrown on),....then..

mmmmm.....mmmm...GuuuD.

editt:... or...no sauce, .....'cept butter, yes BUTTER, with cracked-peppercorn..... plain & simpe. MELTS in your mouth. mmmm....mmmmmm..GuuuD. We need a BUTCHER to help out with this thread pleeze.

And the white family is more physically united with grandparents present as well, alluding to more concrete family values opposed to the sexually segregated black family. RACIST! SEXIST!

I seriously thought I was supposed to be looking for a joke when I saw the picture, then realized it was real

and,...don't forget to notice the caucasian family's background dwelling appears to be a nice stucco building w nice white table, whilst the African-American dwelling shows greenery (jungle?) in the background as well as a public-park-looking picnic table. (the affluent caucasian family eating at well-appointed home whilst the A-A family eating at a public park, complete w/ red/white checkered table cloth? ... LoL . Look at the DINNER.... Fresh Pineapple, shrimp, fruit, etc, etc, all in nice dishes,....yet look at the tupperware crap & what is that..fried chicken on the grille?..?? well, perhaps ribs... LoL )

There is a taste/texture difference. My personal favorite is skirt. I love the veins of fat running through the meat, and I love the texture. Ribeyes are a close second, but only when cooked properly on very high heat (keeps it rare but renders the fat.) Filet has minimal flavor, so I almost never buy it. Flat iron and hanger have great flavor and cheap, but take a bit of skill to cook right because they aren't fatty...since they are cheap they are great for a big bbq when you need to feed a lot of peeps on your dime but don't want to serve them dogfood. There are other cuts, but those IMHO are the best.

This. I have never been a fan of butter and steak unless you are doing the french pan/baste technique. A lot of steakhouses brush their steaks with clarified butter so that they glisten, but I think it's a waste.

Not a fan. Far too much vinegar in all their sauces.

For me, the easiest recipe in the world and it is effing delicious

Package of tenderloin tips, family size
Good Seasonings Italian dressing - Follow mix instructions, for vinegar, use 50/50 of red wine vinegar and balsamic

Marinate overnight, scream "fvck the world" as you grill
Trying this out, everything is marinading now. Even threw in some peppers & onions. Don't let me down!
