Quick thing to check, make sure that the bulb holders are correctly installed and seated completely in the headlight assembly as it is very easy to remove them to replace bulbs and not get them seated correctly. This will "break" the ground, and can cause the lights to flicker or not work at all and in extreme cases, the bulbs can melt the headlight area in which the bulb holder seats meaning that you would have to spring for NEW or USED headlight assemblies. Since the area is tight, it may well be easier for you to check this by partly removing the headlight assemblies so that you can get a better look.

Another thing to look at are the rear tail lights. If the grounds are faulty there they can affect the headlights.

Hmmm the previous owner had aftermarket led tails in the back. And one side is out.

Might possibly affect it. As stated, check for any wire damage going to the headlights from the harness.
