Quick question. If say I was nearby and carrying when this happens...am I in the right if I put a bullet in his head or am I screwed because I was in no direct harm?

I think they'd commend you for it, but I feel like there would be some major law issues that would happen...

Depends on the law in your state

Generally most states allow you to use force if a 3rd party is experiencing the same threat qualifiers as you would 1st party

Honestly, didn't think they put a bullet in his head. I figure, a body shot would've sufficed. But, whatever, dude was a piece of sh!t for holding a little girl hostage.

Probably couldn't risk a body shot with the knife at the childs throat. A jerk reaction could slit the childs throat, sure thing is the best thing.

Head shot is a much better guarantee of instant incapacitation if he hit "the tree"

Body shots wouldn't do much unless hitting a critical organ, even then a person can still function for minutes/hours afterwards

Brain stem is always a better way to go

He might've aimed for back of the neck

Im in florida...

Had a similar incident where I choose not to use deadly force...I could easily have but didn't

Was at a car meet on Saturday night (like 300 cars, happens every Saturday night) anyways we see a bunch of people start running towards a group of people. We're all like WTF is going on. Seconds later I see some Mexican kids chasing a white kid with a chain beating him down and when other people tried to intervene they pulled guns. They were 20 feet away. Me any my friends could have easily blown them away. But decided to run as the risk of getting shot by someone else was too high as you couldn't tell who was good or bad since it was complete chaos and people running around.

Apparently someone was knocked unconscious for a long time because of that fight. Not sure if they got the guys who attacked.

Next time we go out everyone's keeping a shotgun in the trunk and keeping a gun on us. Sh!t was crazy. I kept pretty calm during the whole thing surprisingly even after seeing guns drawn...

All that bs supposedly over an ECU...

That's the thing, there's usually cops at the meet and I've been going every Saturday for 2 years now and nothing like this has happened. But then again it's in Jacksonville Florida. Just look up crime rates here...that's why I live miles out of the way on an island to avoid it.

You play too much Call of Duty, a body shot anywhere could of gave him the 1-2 seconds to slit that childs throat.

BRB PLZ MOVE THE CHILD SO I CAN SHOOT UR HEART, THX

How do you retards come up with this

SHOULD OF HIT HIS HAND AT A 67.3 DEGREE ANGLE DISABLING THE HAND AND FREEING THE CHILD WHILE ALLOWING HIM TO PROSECUTED SO TAX PAYERS CAN FEED AND SHELTER HIM FOR THE NEXT 60 YEARS OF HIS LIFE. BRB INTERNET PRO.

Cops did it right, shot that disgusting drama whoring **** right in the head and called it a day.

Lol, holy ****... this kid is like ultimate annoying car-guy.

Shouldn't you be driving Bugatti Veryons for being at the right place at the right time bro. NO PICS OR VIDS THOUGH BECAUSE I WAS SO FOCUSED ON FEELING THE POWER OF THE VEYRON.
