do you not have tools or some of the stuff you need? That DIY link I posted is what you need, invest in tools if you don't have any, not someone else's labor. I would lend a hand if I was closer haha.

Like Moose said, invest in a decent set if tools and do it yourself. Would you rather shell out $1000+ or less than $100 in tools that can serve you many DIYs in the future?

I just put a new starter in my car last week. Not fun at all, and I did it on a lift with air tools. Just think of the money you will be saving though! for $1,000 you can get yourself a starter, all the tools needed, a jack and jack stands and plenty of beer to drink when you get pissed while doing that job.

HAHAHA. Welllll luckily my manager has a friend who works at aamco and he came to my house and put my starter in as a side job. I bought the starter for 130.00 and paid him 250 to install. I'm satisfied. Idk what he did but now the stuttering I had is gone! And my car drives longer in 1st gear too! Never used to do that checked my struts , wheels, replaced a few wires, etc.

Glad to hear it already worked out! I am sure he disconnected the battery while doing the starter and that in turn did a battery reset of the control modules in your car, more than likely causing most of the shifting characteristics while the car re-learns itself to your driving style.
