vegas clubs, presale tickets?

has anyone bought tickets for a club from sites like vegas.com or bestofvegas.com?

is it worth it? going with the my gf and never been to vegas as a couple.

Im trying not to wait in line forever and im not buying a bottle just for the two of us.

most of these sites say you dont have to wait in line.....but i have a feeling there is going to be twice as many people in the presale line if I do buy them

OP, why goto a club? Just blast music in your hotel room, get drunk and have crazy sex. Why pay and wait in line to do practically the same thing?

Sent from Heaven.

Buy it directly from the club sites.
Presale lines are faster because you've already paid and they only sell a certain amount of presale tickets.
GA is usually $50 at the door and you still have to wait in line.

My wife and I just went a few weeks ago.

Make dinner reservations at Tao's restaurant, and ask for a hand stamp for their club. No wait, no cover, and its one of the better clubs in Vegas. The place was hopping on a Friday night in mid June.

Only open Thurs-Sat, though.

Here's a dumb question from a long-married Mormon suburbanite: what's the appeal of these places if you're already in a serious relationship? What happens there that is 1) fun and 2) interesting enough that you'd be willing to spend money to go there?

Doesnt really matter to me.....the key items here are: no line and not overly expensive

Honestly, it doesnt really appeal to me as much any more...but shes like to go and dance so im game......im trying to keep it as cheap and simple as possible.

it was always easier when we went as a group and split a bottle with 6-8 people ....this is a new situation for me.

Ah, okay. I can see how it might be fun if you like to dance.

I've never heard of this site, but I guess just use your common sense. If they are asking for your Social Security, CC, and a ton of $$$ for a deposit then... you'd be an idiot for getting scammed.

From my personal experience, it's best to find out what clubs you are interested in going and then if you and your gf are set on that club, buy the pre-sale. especially for yourself, your gf might have a better chance of getting in for free but for you definitely buy the ticket. (the earlier the better since prices are lower).

Second option would be to contact a promoter for whatever club you are trying to get into and see if they have a discounted guest list. Best of luck!
