BMW i8 Spy Photos

So, I was going on a drive to hike a mountain and I spotted an i8 undercover. I camped out and took some pics of it for you guys! Please do not use these elsewhere without my authorisation.

Lol at the wheel badges. Why don't they just cover the windows with garbage bags and the seats with sheep skin? They want people to know that's why

Thanks for posting, very cool! They're testing the US specs probably on US roads. The i8 will be on sale in about a year in the US, they need to get the testing wrapped up.

So, I talked to an engineer I found and it sounds like the 3 cyl turbo diesel variant is not coming to the U.S. There is an i3 here as well under camouflage. Its not as interesting as the i8 but I may take pictures later and post them.

As far as the test vehicle, it is the same specifications as the european variant is.
