Anyone in here do Men's Physique shows?

I'm really considering it cause I was never able to get big enough to be a bodybuilder, but I'm fairly lean. Anyone here ever competed in these shows?

Yes, apparently they were not impressed with the muscular veins on my penis when i pulled it out on the stand. Which is ridiculous, worked so hard on those.

**** it, got to keep the speedo they supplied me with.

You and I have the same ideas, I've definitely considered them and always made a similar thread. So I'll be excited to see the results of this thread, I know we have one member who does them with his wife! They both got trophies in their last show, but hers was bigger. lol

You don't wear a speedo in physique contests.

A friend of mine started dating a chick who did them... she convinced him to bulk up and he ultimately did it as well.

My step-brother also competes though he recently tore his shoulder so that's out of the cards for a while.

Both of them had + and - about the process. In particular, they hated the two or three weeks leading up to the shows because of the effect it had on them physically and psychologically. Several days before competition, I think I remmeber he said he had stopped drinking water and was taking diabetics to remove whatever H2O was left in his system for aesthetic purposes. Said the days of shows he would look his best but feel his worst in months.

Some crazy ink there! If you are capable of that I wouldn't say you're far off physique contest standards. However you need some boobs haha

A physique contest is when males compete over who has the most awesome beach body. They wear board shorts and not speedos. Here is a picture
