Great work man. All I would say is build your chest a little more, maybe don't flare your lats so much in your front pose (I'd have to see the alternate to have a solid opinion on this,) and get a darker tan. Aside from that, you killed it.

posing is what I struggle with. My chest has always been a weak point of mine. I may do another show in two weeks so I wont have time to build it up, but perhaps, like you said, control my back flare. At the same time, I feel like the judges want to see that V taper so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I could go on and win a national show and become pro. But I doubt I want to go that far with competing. It was more for the experience and I sure learned a lot.

Your back flare looks great from the back. I just think it looks overly posed from the front - more bodybuilding than physique.

The other side of that coin is that, like me, your arms are better developed than your chest. You could consider a bit more lateral delt to help with the V shape. If you can't make the bottom of the V smaller, making the top bigger works, too.

Overall though, you still killed it.

Did you do your own color?

You surprisingly don't lose much with the tattoos. A lot of guys who get very positioned tattoos (just the chest, just the bi/tri, etc) end up looking bad on stage. Yours are placed very nicely and don't detract. And, somehow, you have the only male lower back tattoo that doesn't make me think, "this dude obviously makes bad life decisions." I assume you were born in China? I'd get "Made in Belgium" but I don't think that works quite as well.

Yes, did my own color. Just tanned once or twice a week and then applied a coat of pro tan before and morning of. I DEFINITELY need to add at least another coat next time. Was the lightest one there.

Yes, I was born in China. It actually has a lot more meaning than what everyone thinks. Reminds me of where my family came from, super poor family living in a village in china(no water, electricity, etc) and then coming to America and having all these opportunities now. Very blessed for everything I have(and don't have).

I'm considering it, but mainly because I want to prep for Spring/Summer..haha.

I actually did a reverse diet AKA got fat, on purpose. I gathered 40 of my FB friends and challenged them to lose weight and get in shape. We started a "FitBit group" and it's been pretty cool. A lot of people are posting their recipes, motivation, exercises, etc. We all did before photos/stories and the ultimate winner will get a FitBit Flex, courtesy of me.

*if you want to see my before pic(lol content) check out my IG = jinforthewin79

Man that's a great motivation for one another. I'm finally just starting to diet today shooting for a show mid to end of April.
