my 01 330xi starving for gas

i was on my way home and all the sudden the car started shaking and there was an immediate loss of power.
i pulled into a shell station and turned the car off, i tried starting it back up a few times and it kept dying
ive done ignition coils, fuel filter, spark plugs very recently and i checked the fuse and its fine tested it with a fuse tester

im assuming its the fuel pump but i just wanted to get other peoples opinions before i go ahead and order one,
also if i do have to get one which one is most recommended if in the future if i was to do a supercharger
i know you need a higher flowing fuel pump for an s/c kit ive heard walbros are good but i just wanna hear what others have to say

thanks

Could be a clogged fuel filter. Easy fix before you drop money on the pump. Of course, if time is a factor throw both at it.

First time I had a similar problem it was the fuel pump relay. You can swap it with the horn relay to see if the problem goes away. The second time I had a similar problem it was the fuel pump. Just changed it out 3 weeks ago.

i just did the fuel filter around 2-3 weeks ago ill give that relay a try before i go for the pump although the car has 133k on it and i think the pump is original so it might be a good idea to replace it anyway
