Can someone here can help with a repair?

I'm brand new to the forum and also new to BMW's. I just picked up a 01 330i for a great deal but will need some minor work.

I am needing to replace the Thermostat, Water pump and Power Steering Pump. I am pretty good with tools and have fixed many cars in the past.

I was wondering if there are any local BMW owners that are willing to help me make sure I'm doing everything right.

Please let me know if you are able to help.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome - enjoy the car. Regular preventive maintenance will keep a big smile on your face as you enjoy your E46. You've got some skilled members up there, so I'm sure someone will chime in.

If you're going to be doing those items, definitely consider a comprehensive cooling system overhaul. Here's a great diy guide:

I am always down to lend a hand when I can find the time, but unfortunately I currently do not have much time, other than maybe sunday evening; I am going to orcas island this weekend, then going on a roadtrip to Montana for 8days after that! If you want to wait, I have all the tools needed and wouldn't mind ensuring you don't do anything wrong. Depending on your mileage though you might want to consider doing the whole cooling system while you are at it as preventative maintenance. I am planning on doing the entire cooling system on my car within the next year unless a failure prompts me to do it sooner (and on credit, lol).
