E46 Vert. Custom Audio Upgrade Help!

Hi guys sorry im completely new to the audio world basically im trying to do a ski pass build for my vert. I have done research but nothing really made sense, like i said im completely new to this. Would someone direct me or help me out, here i go!

1. I need the exact deminsions of the ski pass in inches top build a box out of mdf that would fit a kicker comp 10"
2 After research im planning on getting a kicker amp to go along with my sub, but would i have to re-wire everything to the new amp for example the door speakers and tweeters? would i need a converter for this? would i need a capacitor even tho i want a clean hitting system rather than a super loud system. Since im getting a new amp and planning on wiring my stock speakers to it would i need a crossover? My main goal is a clean system, kind of what BSW provides without the Price tag. If i have failed to mention anything please bring it up to my attention and explain why thanks.

Just adding a sub? You should be able to get an amp that will not require you to rewire any of your other speakers (you want high level inputs as an option on the amp), and that will have a built-in crossover.
Capacitors are very well suited to precision setups like what you are talking about, but a quality amp connected with a low gauge power cable should suffice - and you can always add a capacitor later if you feel it is needed.
Take your own measurements or, better yet, template it physically with some cardboard and work with that to build your box.
Good luck, and reply with some pics when it is all said and done!

I was thinking of adding a sub and a amp to help power the sub. I recently purchased a kicker comp 10" so ill probably get a kicker amp. basically what you are saying i can just rewire the sub to the new amp and keep other wires in my stock HK amp? Would I need to buy a crossover if my amp doesnt come with it? Is the crossover used to send the signal over to the new amp instead of the Stock HK amp? sorry if i sound confused cause i am lol. And for sure when i do get started ill take photos of my steps and how it turns out.
