LIP, Yes or NO?

I purchased a CF LIP from a friend.

I didn't like the lip CF, so i decided to paint it OEM Titanium Silver. However I'm still not convinced I like it.

What is your thoughts?

But seriously, there's just too much going on IMO, doesn't look that good to me.

Just sticks out a little too far. The carbon might have been a little more slimming for it. there will be someone who likes it though! Dont worry!

IMO The only way it would look ok is if it was molded into the bumper so you dont see the gaps. Otherwise CF

Before you do anything else... Paint your fog light rings black... Then step back and see how you like it.

Get some $7 plastidip for the fog light rings... It Holds up well, but if you don't like it, it removes easy.

Also fix the bumper fitment under the drivers side headlight....

And if you can reverse those yellow dlr bowls, I'd say do that too, or consider repainting the bowls with a translucent smoke, like VHT taillight smoke spray...

All these things will stop your eyes from going all over the place and the lip won't seem so bad after that.

Thanks for the input, I removed the bumper and painted it and now I do not know how to get it to sit flush again. Any recommendations?
-when it cools down I am going to jack it up and remove the lip I agree it looks better without. I am going to try a set of splitters.

-Anybody want to buy the below lip?

@bumper fitment:
The bumper mounts are adjustable I think, if not then maybe try to remove bumper and re-seat it may not be seated properly in the mounts... if that doesnt work... remove the strip under the headlight and take a heat gun, warm up the area and pull up a little with fingers to close the gap.

I'm sick, I like it. - I have a titan silver coupe I'd throw it on.... then I'd probably hem and haw and rip it off too. I was looking at that exact lip, I'm glad I didn't go for it.
You're going to need some aggressive side skirts to make that look right.

Agreed. On a stock M that lip just doesn't "work" for me.
