Please don't post links of map updates or they will get deleted.

You should buy a cassette widescreen unit if you can source one cheap as its a direct replacement as it will allow you to split screen the NAV.

Why not the CD 16:9? Was there a change from cassette to CD units that isn't compatible?

With Cassette you know it will work. I upgraded the 330 blindly to CD 16:9 and it didn't work and needed to do the whole new radio / flat pin conversion.

I might look for the 16:9 screen and a MkIV computer for the back (ive read that its plug and play), wonder how expensive this will be.

About 800 for the MKIV and 400 for the screen.

Wonder how much my old MKIII and 4:3 screen would be worth

Oh.. Sorry to correct here, the latest version V32 on mk3 and old 4:3 screen provides split screen as well. Search for E39Source on the upgrade. You love it.

Yes but it's very compressed and not as usable as when its on a much larger screen, upgrade to the 16:9 you won't regret it.
