something about the way that this was made makes me want to go re-watch 'the dark knight' ... lol

I like it

I also like how they wait until the climax of the video to introduce you to the "435i" on the back

I still can't get over how stupid it is that they are calling it the '4' series.

I can't believe they went with the boomerang looking thing on the side, near the front fenders.

Blame Kia, Ford, etc.

Don't think I'm alone in this, but I find the car underwhelming. Especially not yet accustomed to the 4 series designation.

Anyone see the new X5 yet? I find it quite ugly.

At this rate I'll never have reason to buy a new BMW.

These cars are becoming more and more "soft and cushy." BMW isn't making THE ultimate driving machine anymore.

They're luxury cars. They have to compete in their segment, which includes companies like Benz, Audi, Lexus, Lincoln.

yep, that's true. I'm assuming BMW enthusiasts that prefer the raw visceral feel of BMW's past are a small niche as compared to mainstream society. Therefore I can see BMW watering down the brand and make their cars more plush to attract a wider audience.

it's unfortunate they had to make a whole other "series" to accomplish a car like this. This is exactly what the 3 couple should've looked like in the first place. awesome looking car imo

This is true. Although I haven't driven it, I would imagine that the 1 series would fit the bill best for said enthusiasts. Small, yet powerful with an inline 6 and nimble handling.

I'm sure it will grow on me, like every 3 series released after the E46.
