Anytime I've ever tweaked my back lifting its been when squatting or deadlifting in a WOD... Which is why if a WOD calls for either of those lifts I'll usually swap it out for Prowler work instead.

I'd love a prowler man. I live on a private road that resembles the surface of the moon so I never even considered getting one. I might when they pave the road soon, though.

I hate back squats in a WOD. DLs are usually light enough to not really cause any damage though. I dont mind super light high rep front squats though.

That's typically what I have done.

I did a wod last week with 8 155lb deads and it was fine. I seem to tweak my back more on squats and deads. Deads actually make my back feel better when I'm done.

Awesome workout last night. Still working back up to weights I pushed over winter but I feel great today. Lunges are so underrated. I feel like they beat my legs up more than squats.

Funny you say that. As I was setting up my bench I'm like wtf this needs to catch back up. I am def capable of more but I dropped down in order to work back up since I didn't consistently do them for a while. I believe I was 3 repping 210 or so.

Hahaha I most def agree with you on the lunges. I don't think people underrate doing lunges I think they are just scared that the girl who's doing next to them can do more reps and walk it off as if it was nothing haha jk, but in all seriousness people do over look lunges and id say that is one of the best leg workouts to do.

On your handstand are you doing free handstand or having your heel/leg touching the wall?
