Good luck Marcus!! I think with the higher compression the 7275 would be a better choice though! Should easily make 100 more RWHP !

What is the word on the Infinity? In the supra world it has pretty much died. Guys are upset about lack of updates and just all around AEM seems to be dragging their feet??

what are the advantages of Infinity over Proefi? As you spent a lof of time on proefi what made you choose infinity?
The only real advantage, and this contains partial opinion.. is that its a complete stand alone, no more piggy back, no more stock dme at all.

I feel in the E46 m3 that's around 800-900rwhp. Even at those power levels your often over powering the tires and putting the car under questionable loads frequently and breaking things. Which is why my goal is in the 800rwhp range.

Thanks, I'm very excited to see the outcome as well.

Lets hope we're both enjoying our cars together come October at Airstrip Attack.

Maybe a year ago switching ECU's would have caused a stir but I think most of that drama is over and people realize people just like to change things up to change them up.

I agree, and I'm hoping they can fab up a slightly quieter exhaust for me as well so that I can enjoy it without always looking over my shoulder for a cop.

I still have the 7275 and being it bolts right up I might flip back n forth between the two and see the results.

Regarding the Infinity, I'll admit.. its a wait and see at the moment. From what I've seen its worked well on Kenton's car which had an identical setup as mine, and Dallas's car which at the time was 100% stock.

Marcus,

What happened with the Lambo?

Which stage was it? Did you roll from a dig or from 50 + mph?

You need to cover 60-130 in 3,5 seconds as most of the Street gallardos times are from 3,4 to 3,61 seconds.

You should also get an auto transmission to keep up with the big boys

You can go 60-130 in 3,5 seconds in RWD mode and keep up with gallardos:
- with an automatic transmission,
- 1200 whp,
- good tires,
- good suspension
- boost by gear

If you optimize the above package you dont need to stick to 800 whp.

The point he JUST made is that going for that isn't exactly fun to own.

I have a blender that will disintegrate a concrete brick on power level 10. But why would I turn it up to level 10 when all I'm making is Tomato soup with basil?

Mert, I'm pretty sure this is a track car. High comp s54, moton suspension, etc etc. it'd be a shame to convert it to straight line duty because with the right tuning it should perform well on the track.
Edit: but gheybe this blender goes to 11!

Mert, your persistence is admirable.. I'm just tired of it. I want to enjoy the car, drive it, etc. Its been on lifts, trailers and in storage for 11months of the year for the last 3 years.. it gets a little tiring.

The car will do everything decently. It wont' be the worlds fastest straight line e46 m3, it won't be the best track car, it won't be the best street car. But my goal is that it could do all of that fairly well with a little tweaking before each event. I'm not looking to build the worlds fastest e46 m3, I'm looking to build the worlds most enjoyable one.
