Vibration under acceleration is most likely the driveshaft. An older (original) driveshaft with shot (froze) U-joints will kill a CSB in short order. I had the same issue in my 2004 325xi wagon. Violent banging around 30mph. CSB was replaced at around 135k, and at 192k, problem was back. A fully new rebuilt driveshaft fixed the issue.
I think that is going to solve the problem. However I'm going to replace the engine and transmission mounts before hand to eliminate both of those options as they are both due to be replaced.
