My Ride: 2000 323i
year and body style: 2000 323i with Sports Package
setup being rated: Bilstein/H&R Spring set-up from Turner Motorsport
adjustments: N/A
additional aftermarket components: none
additional info: car has about 120,000 miles on it.
preferred ride style: i prefer a ride that gives me control without dips at stops and leaning in the curves.
would you recommend this setup? NOT FOR NY or anyplace that has lots of potholes and speed bumps. The ride height is just too low. I have to constantly be aware of slightest obstacles in the road and cannot go over some speed bumps no matter how slow without scraping the bottom. The ride his great. Thing drives like a go-cart. I love taking sharp curves like in an on-ramp because there is no leaning. Lots of fun - but ride height is too low.
price paid, including installation (if applicable): $1281 shocks and springs. DIY installation.
ride comfort: 8 (stiff but not uncomfortable)
handling: 9

I'm looking to increase the ride height. One shop told me I could just re-install the original springs, but I'm not sure what that will do to the shocks.
