Mine blew a couple of times. I finally noticed that the HPF gasket was getting burnt away because the metal sealing ring of the gasket wasn't wide enough to prevent exhaust gases from eating away at the gasket asbestos like material. I solved the problem by making a full dimension thin copper gasket and using a very thin coating of silicon. I got the sheet copper at ACE Hardware.
