Late to thread, but Stone got a perfectly fair trial and was fairly, if somewhat leniently, sentanced. He tried to pull his usual political chicanery and tricks on the prosecutors and judge, who'd have none of it (and why they rightfully lowered the boom on him).

Now Trump and company are simply, per the usual, trying to gaslight and flood the field with schidt to delegitimize our independent judicial system (all this is Authoritarianism 101) to retain their own grip on power. Just as they are with our independent free press (fake news) and many other pillars of our democracy.

The right is in an existential panic in the face of their demographic diminishment. Job 1 is to retain their hold on power. If that can be accomplished through democratic means, then all the better. If not, then by any means necessary.

Desperate people do desperate things, that's why I fully expect the right to become much worse before president Sanders or Warren sit down behind the Resolute Desk next Jan 20.

Much worse.

You don’t have a problem with the obvious bias of the jury forewoman? Or the fact that she hid this bias during jury selection and did not complete her jury questionnaire honestly and accurately?

How do you come to the conclusion that “Stone got a perfectly fair trial”?

Perfectly fair? Really?

Let's see how Stones efforts for a retrial play out.

There's a process, let's see it through before pitching out the baby with the bathwater

It is really scary how easily and readily Dems will abandon their core values and principles in order to exert bias against Trump and his supporters. It’s almost as if deep down they have no principles or core values and just want power to control our lives.
