How are you guys dealing with this

Hi All, I am wondering how you guys clean this emblem if you have the same issue. I am hoping to not replace it but I don't know if anything and what would work on that clear coat or whatever it is. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

i used a clear plastic polish, helps a little. but itís a soft gummy coating over it. I gave up finally trying to revive and bought some replacement replica emblems off eBay about 6 mos ago. look so much better seeing the bright colors and time will tell how long they last.
