My bad, that Koeneggsigg is kinda hideous as that green is way off.

This is more what I'm talking about..

There's also a black C36 AMG sitting in a driveway a couple towns over - kinda hoping I see a FS sign on it or see it pop up on CL.

That being said, here's today's GEM. One of the best color combos for the E39 M5, and pretty low, but driven miles on this one and tasteful mods (except depo headlights), this is a stunner.
If I was in the market, I'd buy it now on this one. LOVE LOVE LOVE the color combo.

Never seen this happen before..

Interesting re-listing one day after the auction ended on this 87 Dinan M6.

Looks like 4 bidders had issues placing bids in the last few minutes or issues logging into the website, so BaT re-listed today with 10 hours left so they can all re-bid. This type of thing seems rare in the car buying industry. But it appears they sided with the seller as he was shafted out of potentially a few more grand. Go BaT! (sucks for the buyer who thought he had the top bid and won though).

I was getting some errors trying to access the site yesterday and actually wondered what would happen if it went down during an auction, good on BaT.

$150,000!!! ha

Therein lies the reasoning behind how and why all the analog M5s have changed in valuation over recent years. They are such great driving cars that touch upon all aspects of the Ultimate Driving Machine. Most have huge mileage on them today and the survivor rate of honest low mileage examples is minuscule compared to cars that were regarded as exotics and future collector cars right out of the production gates. M5s were driven...daily and for this fact they have been experienced by a large population of enthusiasts leaving impressions at every corner or wide open road. Now these same enthusiasts want to get back to their roots with very few top level original cars surviving today. 80,000 miles on an E39 M5 is the same as having 8K miles on a Ferrari 360 Modena.

Sounds like I bought a Ferrari 360 Modena with only 8k miles 2 years ago to me. Cool!!!

Had a friend in college that had an Audi like that, with the stock engine it was the most gutless thing I have every driven. Handled pretty damn well though, would give a 323i some competition in the twisties.

OK, It's officially time for an E46Fanatic to slide on in there when no one is looking and scoop up this beast with only 3 hours left in the auction, for $750 PER CYLINDER. HOW DA F is this so cheap.

Because in less than a year that thing will be totaled by maintenance costs.

I had a quick go through at the maintenance records, it's actually not bad and mostly just upkeep items.

Already got one. (Minus the hovercraft part)

It's a pretty epic replica the guy made considering it's all fiberglass, wood, and foam. I'm surprised BAT would list it considering it's not really a car. There's a thread about it on the DMC forums, though not much more info than what's listed on BAT.

that's about how many miles I put on it this summer before it went back into winter storage last week. I probably spent more time on my lawnmower this year than in the DeLorean. No time, ironically.

Until it's not. It's only got 51K miles.

Gawd dayum, and that thing is local to me too. Too bad I don't have $40k sitting around since that's what I'm guessing it'll go for.
