Will these tires fit my 330ci?
Currently running square setup, VMR wheels, V703 model, 18 x 8.5 w/ 35 offset
I'm trying to buy some used/new snow tires that will be mounted on the above rim size, but the snow tires (not the rims) are staggered. Can you guys tell me if these sized tires will fit my rims w out rubbing? Front: 235/45/18 Rear: 255/40/18 Would really appreciate any answers. Thanks!

225/40R18 and 255/35R18 are original equipment sizes. So your looking at wider in front and taller in rear than original.

You don't want to run wide tires for the winter. Narrow is better because they will cut through the snow and give better traction. Wide tires will ride on top of the snow more and have much less actual contact with the road. For winter tire and wheel package on a 330 run square setup with 225/45 R17 or 205/50 R17. What you are trying to use is too tall for the car and too wide for optimal snow traction.

Yes wide tires are bad in winter.
You could really mix and match a lot of different choices. It also depends on your suspension and if you are lowered at all. Personally I would run a square 215/225 /40, they will be the easiest to find. I also have no idea why you are running those staggered sizes on square wheels.
