Angel Eyes Question

I have a carbon black m3, and i want to get angel eyes installed. I have the bi xenon package. I was thinking that i would want to get red angel eyes, because that would look really good with the black paint. however, my question is, would the red angel eyes stay on all of the time when the headlights are on?? What i want is to be able to have my regular headlights when im just driving and stuff without any red showing at all. is this possible. is there like a switch that you can have installed which turns the angel eyes on and off completely so that when i want they wouldn't show. or should i just go with the xenon color looking angel eyes?
thanks

You have options.

they can turn on with your windshield wipers if you want

The bottom line is a switch install on an E46 takes almost no effort and is painless. It's just running one wire through the firewall to a switch and one wire back out from that switch to the "trigger" - red wire in the ECU. That's it.
