Disney+ (awaiting release)

I think that's it

How much does all that cost per month when you add in internet service?

I have often avoided adding it up, but including FIOS (100/100) its a little over $150 a month which isn't that bad, I am not including Prime as I consider their streaming service a bonus to getting free shipping on Amazon.

All of these services are nicely bundled together at your local torrent tracker

I just don't subscribe to services that act exclusively. I don't want ALL Disney programming or NBC or CBS or whatever. Netflix brings a lot of stuff together as does HBO and Amazon. They get my money for that. The networks all trying to launch their own services will just end up being too fragmented to deal with. They either need to lower prices or cooperate together.

My son loves Disney movies and at $20 a piece I own a ton of them, so spending less than $4 a month to be able to stream everything they have is worth it, the service will also include all the Star Wars and Marvel movies, Disney owns everything.

In two years someone will prolly pull them all together, along with other local networks, call themselves TVDirect offering a low introductory rate with premium channels costing just a smidge more, maybe toss in free equipment (insert excited face), then jack up the prices a year later!

Cool, sign me up, but only if after the introductory period the price triples and if you want to cancel early it will cost me my first born child.

lol bonus points if you offer a kidney!

Lost count of the number of times I called to "cancel" DirectTV only to have them throw in three more months of premium channels and some percentage discount off Sunday Ticket. The day that strategy ran it's course is when I signed off of cable.

**The Netflix and Blockbuster Movie Thread**

Denzel Washington and Rami Malek are filming "Little Things" - a crime/police drama - outside of one of our jail facilities today/tonight. It's cool to see some of the retro police cars parked outside.

Cameo? Google tells me they're still looking to fill the role of the bad guy.

I remember when a movie was filmed across from my house growing up, the crew was probably there for a couple weeks/just short of a month and they just ended up using an exterior shot for about 5 seconds of the movie The production side is interesting to take in.

He was totally in character, but he’s a nice guy. The production side is very interesting. I remember when me and some of my Capoeira group mates spent a day shooting stunts and slave scenes in Los Angeles for the movie “Pele”. After it was all said and done, they used 2 seconds worth of footage.

Here’s a pic from that stunt shoot:

Where the F do they find cars like that just sitting around? I mean, it's not only the police cars but also the other period correct cars parked in the lot too. Do they run and drive and everything?

There are people/companies that make it their business to own cars for this purpose.

but with the new baby at home, i have been barely watching anything on Netflix (and keep forgetting that I have Prime video and even HBO Now through AT&T)
so i'm not going to bother signing up for the trial yet

I got a deal, 3 years for $129 or something, comes out to just over $3.50 a month.
