2000 323i M54B30 runing with m52tub25 throttle body

Hello,
I have been reading for days and have not found this be covered in the detail i want.
I have a 2000 E46 323I i am planning on putting a M54B30 into out of a 2003 E39 530I.
I want to keep this swap as cheap and simple as possible so i intend to swap the M54B30 in and use the M54 manifold with the throttle body adapter and run the cable driven throttle body.
Will the engine run on the standard 323I DME without modification with the larger M54B30 injectors?

the long and short of it is no. essentially watch this video series on an M54 swap into what would ostensibly constitute a M52 engined car.

video was ok, but did not mention anything about using B30 manifold; B30 t-body (which will not work because it's drive-by-wire); nor did it address DME compatibility that OP asked.
According to this post: https://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...=958186&page=2
it should work.

ok lets word this differently then, as far as my reading goes the M52TUB25 MOTOR AND M54B30 are the same except for the crank, rods, pistons and intake cam.

Lets say im just doing a 3l stroker on my existing engine and swapping the Intake manifold using the throttle body adapter to refit the existing 323I hardware.

to get it running sweet should i use the 3l injectors and just run a 2.8 tune?
what sort of performance will this achieve in comparison to the original 3L tune?
