2 tv's, one image

Hello everyone! I have two 52" sony's and I was wondering what I would have to do to set them up to be controlled by one device?

I was thinking of just running them off of computer that would be dedicated to the tv's. My main goal is to have tv on one, computer on the other, or if i'm feeling crazy, the two tv's being like an extended desktop and sharing the same image.

I was trying to search on google and dont really know what the hell to look for.

Any pointers where I should start my search? or if someone has done this before, how did you set it up?
