I personally prefer my sub 2000 .40 carbine/pistol on the nightstand for bedside.

If my home is invaded our plan is to get to the closet where I have a loaded shotgun/landline.. also if you keep a shotgun around dont listen to people who say "pumping a shotgun will scare anyone away" I keep mine with a round in the chamber no time for games.

Boredom/impulse buy. Truthfully I shot like 8 rounds through it and lost interest It's a clone of what a gangster would have made back in the 20's bonny and clyde had one. He called it his whippit because with a leather loop attached to the butt plate it can be hidden under a long coat and brought up really fast.

I hope you don't live in the UK or Australia. Both have higher victim crime rates. Enjoy!

I have been thinking about one for a while. You really like it? I would do 9mm Glock version.

Glock version is the only way to go(gotta love 33rders).

Mine is perfect and dead accurate at 50yds(100 with optics). I have a .40 and a 9mm version and not really sure why I said .40 because I prefer the 9mm(I cast and reload 9mm).

If the SHTF its perfect for me because being urban it allows me to carry a carbine folded discreetly in a laptop bag and with 33rds of +p ammo and velocity is in 357 mag territory.

Yea, I figured its perfect for a backpack with a G17/19/26 on the belt.

I am not too impressed with my .380 KelTec, so I have been debating the sub2000 but it is hard to find a bad review (for what it is and its cost.)
