Can the moderators either kill or move the ghey street racing threads?

This section is supposed to be for motorsports and the track. The stupid-ass street racing crap belongs somewhere else (preferably the trash). If the staff at E46Fanatics want this forum to get some respect, the street racing stories need to purged from this forum, even if it means it's slow here. There actually are serious racers and autocrossers and DEers who come here, but most won't continue to wade through the street racing crap.

Street racing isn't racing. It's a stupid activity for people with little dicks.

I've posted this about a dozen times already but once more won't kill anyone. A classic Porridgehead street racing story:

*************************************************
Ever wonder where those incredibly creative individuals who write those thrilling tales of road racing derring-do come up with their stories? Suffice to say, they are not always as truthful as they may appear at first. In fact, and I hate to be the bearer of disillusioning news of this nature, sometimes the stories are nothing but fabrication.

I know, it’s shocking, but it is unfortunately often the case. Up until now we’ve only had hearsay evidence but we recently intercepted the following story compositor from a clandestine company know only as U-Rite-It. This particular example has been traced to no less than 32,456 different stories that have been published in various venues. Even worse, this is number 146 in the automotive fantasy series. Just how many exist is anybody’s guess, let alone what other arenas that they have penetrated. Take a look at the following and we think that you’ll agree that this is an issue that has achieved, if not eclipsed, the importance of nomex underwear upon the current fashion industry.

We were neck and neck. It was now a matter of pure will. I knew I wasn’t going to back down and he

A.) Wasn’t even aware that I was racing him.

B.) Hung up the phone and proceeded to groom himself.

C.) Yawned mightily and curled up for a long winter’s nap

D.) Rubbed the deodorant pinetree under his arms.

As we approached the next set of lights, they were glowing red and it was at that critical moment that I made the decision to

A.) ummmm… stop?

B.) Come to a complete stop, check both ways for traffic and, providing there are no oncoming vehicles, turn right on red.

C.) Consider professional wrestling as a positive career move

D.) Wipe my finger on the dash.

how about a kills/deaths sub forum. the thing that would make this forum better is if there was actually more content in it. but since theres not a large crowd of people who track their car or watch motorsports enough to have an intelligent discussion about it on this forum your honestly better off finding someplace else like bimmerforums. it would be nice if there was a bigger base of club racers that were using e46's but until that day comes i think we are sh*t outta luck. what makes for a good forum like this is to have a lot of knowledgable people posting and if we had more people like geo31 it would probably make for an interesting forum. Im shure there are better forums out there other than bimmerforums track section, i just used it b/c i like reading about BMW's

Well...you guys really only have yourselves to blame...if you pansies would get out to the track more instead of spending the weekends Zymol-ing your 3 series "estate" or "salon".... errr I mean sedan.... you'd have more to talk about in this forum. Until that happens don't chase the street racers off the forum because you won't have any content at all.

Thanks- In track trim with Hoosier...it weighs just over 3200,. It isn't super light, and granted for all the interior I took out I installed another 52pounds of roll bar. I still us the car as my daily driver, so I can't get to too carried away gutting the car. I think if I really went after it and gutted the interior I could get the car down to 3100. The car really needs to be about 2800 pounds, but I don't see that happening without pulling the air conditioning and dashboard.

I am still running th GC with Koni SA's, I'll probably upgrade to the advace design pieces at some point. I also need to upgrade the rear brake package to Brembo 345mm kit from the Euro Rotor/Caliper upgrade I have now. There is still alot to be done. Flywheel and 4.10 gear are on the list also.

Mad because of that? No. Of course you could smoke me anyday on the street because I'm not a ghey limped dick street racer. On the track you probably wouldn't know your shifter from your Johnson.
