IGAB is the only map used and its using the highest values the ecu can use from map ip_iga_tco_1_pl_ivvt__n__maf, of course with interpolation as IGAB is smaller.

If we're not on this beta, should we be running the cold start cam maps for the at temp maps?

edit: also can someone chime in on what full load detection is? I'm searching around and coming up empty handed

Is it possible to release a variant where a "big" ignition table is used? I think it would be easier this way as you have finer control and can directly use these table in a full bin. I think Alpina used the large cold ignition table.

If you are comfortable with patching the binary yourself then this is what needs to be changed in the 430056 fewMaps 512KB binary.

Replace E6 FC 70 47 at 0x30810 with E6 FC 7C 47 to replace ip_igab_is__n__maf with ip_iga_tco_1_is_ivvt__n__maf

Replace E6 FC 88 47 at 0x30A76 with E6 FC 94 47 to replace ip_igab__n__maf with ip_iga_tco_1_pl_ivvt__n__maf

Thank you very much. I did that and right now i am setting up the tables.

[EDIT]
Question is if to use the stock "cold" tables or a blend between "warm" and "cold"...
The original fewMaps files seem to use the cold values.
[/EDIT]

Here is what I have done:
  • The two new ignition tables are filled with the stock cold values.
  • The two basic tables are filled with the stock values again.

You can download the .zip here

Only tested on a B25 so far.

You need to double/triple check your patches before posting them online
I had a look at the files and in the B22 and B25 file the patch for the ip_iga_tco_1_pl_ivvt__n__maf table at 0x30A76 is incorrect, a C has replaced a 4 in the B25 file and a 7 in the B22 file.

Oh boy, how the hell did that happen?
Thanks for taking a look.
Fixed it, doublechecked with hexdiff, updated the .zip and I am going to flash it right now.

Keys not recognized after flashing original tune.

I flashed this tune onto my car a couple of years ago but now I'm trying to go back to the original. After flashing back to the original my keys no longer start the car. Is there some kind of procedure to reset the keys?
