Sayulita, Mexico. God's little gem to mankind.

Sayulita (pronounced sI-u-Leeta), Mexico.

Retiring soon. Me-plan to be a Canadian Snowbird x6months of the year...you know, suck off the Canadian HealthCare system & live in beautiful splendor for the other 6 months. I've earned it.

On the prowl for a nice beachfront condo. And, wake up to absolute beauty. Local rumor has it, mid-late 1800's, Sayluita was the haven for banditos wanting to lay low
and live in absolute pleasure, until they left elsewhere & "made a living", only to return to its pleasure.

My GF & I fell in love with Sayulita many years ago. Time to return for good.

Our friends from León introduced it to us several years ago. Great place to get away and relax... Get one of the boat guys to take you out to the nearby islands (I want to say the Marielas, maybe the Marianas, but my memory fails me) for some awesome whale and dolphin watching... Puerto Vallarta is nearby but a world away, so there is a decent airport nearby to get there and back. As a big plus, Sayulita is not overrun with tourists most of the time, but more and more expats are finding it

I'm building a housing complex there soon for expats. Right on the private beach.

Stankia. The planet Earth is getting smaller every day. You gotta live it. Learn it.

But. I need at least a townhouse w/ 2-3 cars(well, have to have 1 beater truck anyway in my arsenal),...very few props 4-sale (well, I need s/thing in decent shape, preferably under $400kUSD, and MUST have wifi/internet access/proper electricity/water/sewer/etc... ie not dark ages) ...but have found this:

(too expensive for Mexico-living. sellers likely on crack)

https://mexhome.com/property/casita-amarilla-sayulita/

https://mexhome.com/property/casa-amuleto/

might have to find s'thing further out; I don't mind short 15-20min drives to d/town city center.

I really enjoyed that place. I stayed over the weekend one time when I was working in Guadalajara. Beautiful beach. Decent night life. Low cost of living. Getting to it by road sucks though. I highly recommend NOT driving a car there. Get a bus from GDL or Puerto Vallarta. You stand a high chance of dying on those roads. Not even kidding.
