You have a license plate bulb out.

Also, is there any coincidence that the plate says CSL?

It's a specific number plate that I ordered, so MS stands for Mures (the county where the car is registered) 32 stands for 3.2 liters and CSL for Coupe Sports Lightweight.
PS: I've dreamt to have an e46 coupe non facelift and for it to have this number plate

Last night I changed the halogen headlight for a pair of OEM xenon headlights (my car had the wiring loom ready for xenon). But there's a catch, I used sedan headlights and changed the following: cover glass, interior trim and cover strip thus converting them to coupe headlights.

Very nice. The headlights are interchangeable minus those parts you mentioned.

yes they are. But I can only confirm that you can do that for Sedan Facelift and Couper non Face Lift.
Also, since the headlights are from a RHD car i will be changing the projectors as well. Also I will be changing the lenses on my headlights since they are pretty shot.

Great progress. I would also get rid of that factory headunit and replace it with an Android one like this:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Camera-GA91...rd!11358!US!-1

or

https://www.ebay.com/itm/9-Android-6...AAAOSwcgNZMUQ3

It's been one of the best modifications I've made for every day driving. If you decide one one, make sure it has at least 2GB of RAM.

Hello, long time no post. a month ago or so, I finished the engine swap (N42B20 to M54B25). The reason for choosing the B25 ar purely due to the homologation process in Romania (pain in the ass).
So in total the following parts needed to be changed: Engine, gearbox, driveshaft, hydro lines (needed custom lines since the donor car was RHD). I kept the original brakes since the car had 330i brakes for the past 2 years.
Electronics: in order to have the alternator working, a separate 12V switched line needed to be added and also another cable for the climate compressor.
I kept the original ignition barrel and I made myself 2 new keys.

After the engine swap was completed I needed to change the following: valve cover seal and bolts, PCV valve and the hoses associated, MAF sensor (i chose Pierburg), vacuum lines and Denso Spark plugs. Next week I will be doing the O2 Pilot Mod.

I hope you changed out the CCV, Oil Housing Gasket and all the other maintenance stuff that's on the side of the motor. So much easier to do it with the engine out of the car.

sadly no. The only seal that I've changed is the valve cover gasket and the seals around the bolts. The CCV valve including the hoses will be changed next week. I also need to change the crank sensor since I keep getting oil inside one of the ECU connectors.

The engine was very clean when I took it out of the donor car. Sadly I did not have the necessary time to do a proper engine inspection since the whole swap was done in one day...
