Change two garage doors to one.

So, my house currently has two garage doors. How involved would it be to convert it one garage door? Thanks.

It would be extremely involved. Not worth it.

At least one engineered beam to cover the crossover where the space between the doors meet. Also, you'll need a custom door obviously as it's much wider than normal. Oh....and a custom track bar. Good luck.

It depends. Pic of garage from the inside looking out, picturing both doors and surrounding area please.

You have to fill (siding & framing) in the difference between the two doors. A standard double door is 16' long,, you have two 8' door plus the space in between the doors.

Why can't you just open both doors at once..

Are you looking to put a hoist in your garage?
