^Thank you sir.

* * * * * *

Some little arrivals over the weekend:

I had a noisy A/C pulley, and replaced the belts for good measure. No noticeable wear on the old ones, but I didn't know their age.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love the electric fan on the manual 330? One screw, one rivet, two connectors and up and out... It's wonderful.

Beyond basic maintenance and repairs? Hmm...

- ZHP shift knob
- M3 steering wheel
- Euro tray
- Headlight upgrades
.
.
.
- S54 swap?

That's about it. I'm happy with the color, the stance, the wheels, the bodywork---everything is just fine and just needs to be maintained and/or repaired as needed.

Nice nice. Do the headlight upgrades. You will be extremely happy with the outcome

- Replaced fuel filter and fuel pump last month. Preventative. Super easy job.
- During the course of replacement, I must've damaged the F-connector the FPR vacuum line connects to, since I started having intermittent rough running and a recurring P1347 code, among others.
- Bought a Stinger smoke tester:

and put it to work. Awesome tool. Can't say enough good about it---one of the best $90 I've spent on a tool.

It located 2 vacuum leaks: Lower intake boot tears and the broken F-connector. Everything else is tight: DISA, CCV, valve cover gasket---all good.

Replaced the offending parts, and the car runs great now.

Replaced the spark plugs on Saturday:

Think it was time?

No oil whatsoever in any of the spark plug holes. Bone dry.

I also swapped out the #5 coil, which for some reason was different than the others:

Anybody recognize the brand?

The car runs fantastic. Pulls hard all over the tach.

Also, this happened earlier in the month:

15K with it so far in 15 months. Hopefully many more to come!
Where did you get the smoke tested from? I would like to get one.

It's just a blind plug. There was a hole there so I figured there must be a corresponding plug. Weirdly enough the holes are different sizes on the left and right sides of the trunklid, and the right-side plug was still present. RealOEM was a big help.

Quick post-bath pic from earlier:

I have some with a better angle but the dang mailbox is in the background and it looks like it's growing out of the car.

Thanks! I really want to get some photos....not in my driveway. Need to scope out parking decks downtown.

I'm too much of an old fuddy-duddy to have an IG account, but feel free to add whatever images you like to yours (if that's how it works).

Neither, lol. I just played with the Shadows/Highlights in Photoshop a bit. Not entirely pleased with the outcome, but it'll do until I have a better photo to start with.

I need to spend more time learning photography myself.

But man you need, need, need to get a set of xenons in those headlights. Maybe a used set if you don't want to put one together yourself?

Same here. I think you're pretty good already though! Your latest photoshoot looked awesome.

I would love to but it's just not a priority at the moment. I actually probably need new lenses before anything else---the photo doesn't show it but the beginnings of crazing are there, both on the mains and the fogs.

I see it now that I look at it. New lenses certainly refresh the front of the car. I bought a new set in August last year.
