Hope that helps
Thank you very much. Regarding the vin coding for the cluster. I have previously changed my cluster on the car and in order to get rid of the tampered dot, i change the vin on LCM using Bmw Scanner 1.4.0. My car now has 2 VINs, one on the DME and EWS (factory vin) and a different VIN on the cluster and LCM. The car works just fine like this. For the M3 cluster i plan on writing the factory VIN on it.
By the way, have PDC on their e46? My PDC keeps not working.. I changed countless sensors but with no success. What i did notice is that if it's really cold outside they work occasionally... Do you think if i get nu connectors for the PDC sensors, will they work?

PS: this is what came in the mail today. I'm over the moon excited

It's been a while since i last posted but i have some great news. The m3 cluster finally arrive and i will be changing the VIN and also the buffer for the engine temperature. I also got my steering wheel retrimed in alcantara with m contrast color stitching. Last but not least i dropped of the rear axle to get it powder coated and sometime in January i will get new all new bushing (Lemforder), orignal nuts and bolts and Zimmerman disc brakes.
Sadly in the curent configuration (N42B20 engine) the oil temp gauge will not work but it will be working once i install the new engine.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Man that alcantara looks real nice I hope it will last though. My alcantara seats are kinda worn by now, cant imagine how the steering wheel can hold up

Btw I am looking to install quad exhaust on mine, dont you wanna do that too?

We'll see how long the steering wheel like look like this. I don't want quads, i want the car to be as close to oem as possible. My car used to have xenon headlights but i sold them. In the future i will get a xenon headlights that i will be rebuilding (new light bulbs, glass front, xenon projectors). But until then, check the post below

Finally i got the m3 cluster running as close to perfection working. Changed the VIN, updated the VO, and changed the temperature gauge parameters. I don't know if the oil temperature would work on my engine since i have a broken thermal oil sensor .

Looks good. You should also look into writing the correct KMs on the cluster chip.

A few months later a bunch of goodies have arrived at my door. As of now the coupe aka ceslunga, got fresh summer rubber, oem black leather door panels and oem m3 mirrors sadly they aren't power folding. If anyone is willing to sell the power folding motors i will buy them of him or maybe some of you know a way around this problem.
Regarding the rubber, i bought Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (225X45X17 front and 245X40X17 rears). I love how quite they are, i couldn't be more please with them

Loong time no post. My litlle bimmer got a few presents:
-M3 interior mirror
-Electric sunshade
-M splash screen for the sat nav
-shark fin
-Facelift tail lights with OEM conversion kit.
-Clubsport rear spoiler still needs to be painted
-Dension Gateway.

Regarding the Dension, i strongly recommend it for the the following reasons:
-You can bluetooth streem audio from your iPhone (works flawlessly with my 6S)
-no need for cutting wires, being plug & play

nope, it' easy to install. You just have to take out the old rear window shelf an put in the new one with the electric sunshade. In terms of making it work you need a center switch panel with sunshade button and you have to take the 2 wires from the sunshade and connect them to the center switch panel

yeah, they were cheap to buy. If you want to do the same retrofit I'll help you out with all the know-how I have. Been working on e46 for the past 6 or so years.

Nice mods so far, minus that wing. It looked better without it.
What wheels are on it now? X5 wheels looked interesting but they are heavy...

Yes, the rims are form an X5 and the weight is 10.13kg, or at least that's what bmwstylewheels.com says. I'll only be using the rims this winter. Next winter I'll put on OZ alleggerita (around 7.2kg / rim) and get style 193 for summer.

That's what I thought too, that the wing will not look good on the car until I saw one in real life and fell in love with it. It took me around 2 years to find someone that's was willing to sell me the wing.
