CDV delete

Ever since I bought my E46 I've been annoyed by the clutch and how there is absolutely no feeling in it. I've always driven manual cars and like heavy clutches so that's why I decided to do the CDV delete this weekend. I've read a lot that it makes a big difference so I was hoping for the best.

Unfortunately after deleting the CDV I barely noticed any difference. Also when I looked at the pipe going into the clutch I noticed that the hole was barely any bigger than the hole in de CDV itself so maybe that explains why it doesn't feel different. Is there anyone here that had a similar experience and is there any other way to get more clutch feel? Otherwise I think I will have to upgrade my clutch and flywheel but it would be nice if there's a cheaper/easier solution.

All it does is delay the clutch engagement, so the effort required to operate it won't change. You should find hill starts easier though as at least you'll have a consistent biting point. HTH
