Strut braces revisited:Bimmer Mag page 32-33 DEC 2002

"The difference you'll feel is mainly in your wallet. a strut brace aids in maintaining structural rigidity under very high conrnering forces. "very high" means those generated during autocrosss or track events, especially using R-coupound tires and inconjunction with other high-performance suspension parts such as high-performance springs, shocks and sway bars. on the street or on back roads, it is very difficult if not impossible to achieve the level ocrnering force where the bendefits of a strut brace might come intoplay. It will basically just sit there and look good. "

I know most of y'all have lots of handling mods already, but currently, my Active Autowerks FSTB is the only handling mod I've done. And for me, 2002 325i without sport suspension, it does make a difference. Mainly in the feel of the body roll, which is reduced quite a bit, when going around corners. When going slow, you can notice less body roll as well, but it's mainly going at higher speeds that you notice it. I'm sure if you already have sways and springs/coilovers, and THEN add the FSTB, you aren't going to notice that much of an improvement. But if it's your only mod, you should notice it...
