330i ZHP dim lights, but NOT ZKW lenses

Hi all,

Just picked up a 2005 330i ZHP spec a few weeks ago and on my list is fixing the super dim headlights that make it dangerous to drive at night. When I first started searching this I assumed it was the infamous ZKW burnt bowls, but when I went to double check found out that I have AL headlights with the bi-xenon option.

So not sure where to go from here to fix my issue. Guessing the first step would be new bulbs and then maybe check if the bowls could be burnt out even though they're ALs? Also my brights are also super dim as well, not sure if that's relevant.

Oh and something else I forgot to add, sometimes the passenger side headlight goes out occasionally when driving

Ok, so I pulled them out of the car so I could see what’s up and turns out the projector bowls are pretty badly burnt

That's definitely a ZKW headlamp.
