Transmission problems

Wanted to know if e60 525i automatic transmission fits e46 325i? Pls reply if yu know before my opportunity is gone. Pls n thx yu

My Ride: 325ci
If the e60 has an m54 engine it will fit your 325i .but you need to check if the trans is the same as yours because there is 2 types of these auto transmission the 1st one is ZF and the 2nd is GM

Thx yu that helped a lot. If i remember correctly after 04 models they started to use GM so it wouldnt fit

Ok one more question. If the tranny doesnt work wat about the torque converter?

I dont know i think it works but check on reao oem for matching numbers
