Hey guys, I need some help because my car is running really rich right now due to recently installing headers and connecting pipes. I was wondering if anyone knows a shop in either the DFW or the Houston area that can tune my air/fuel ratio. I tried doing a search but no luck, so if anyone could help me I'd appreciate it.
+1 Ive never used them personally yet but had plans to for another car I never finished. I think there might be another shop or 2 that can dyno in the same complexes as them if I remember correctly.
Did you re-connect your O2 sensors? I didn’t think a retune was mandatory after header install. Either way let us know what happens. I don’t think anyone locally has the ability to tune our cars. I agree with the other poster your best bet might be a custom tune by ESS, which you can probably get at Stett. Or just mail it in cause I think there is a group buy going on right now on ESS tuning.
I didn't need a tune after I put in headers but did get the Shark RACE software to eliminate any potential CEL. I smell really rich but it cause I have no cats.
I do not have any cats and also got the Shark race software, but it still worries me that I have smoke coming out my exhaust and occasional backfire, so I want to take it somewhere to make sure nothing else is wrong.
