330xi Front bumper

What bumper cover actually comes equipped on the 2003 330xi?
Mine has what looks to be a M3 cover. I looked online and it seems that every car for sale has a different cover...

This is the facelift sedan/wagon bumper -

There's the pre-facelft, with the rectangular foglights, this one, M-Tech, which came on 330i w/sport package, and the M-Tech II, which came on ZHP. Then you've got the M3 and CSL replicas, and the various coupe/vert bumpers as well, it can get a little confusing.

I've got the same one as Vick posted, the M tech II is popular replacement but you need extra pieces IIRC. Like these, https://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-Fende...sAAOSwk1haKJMN

Browsing around the internet looking at the M-tech bumper...It looks like the M-tech has the same wide mouth center opening as M3, but no additional contour. The M3 cover looks to be protruded around the wide mouth. Mine is the protruded version. The PO wanted it to look like an M3...

Here's my wagon with the M-Tech II bumper -

Yeah, the M3 and M3 reps do have kind of a protruding contour around the grille opening but share the same fog lights.

Some 330xi's came with the Mtech version(the non M3 style). Some 330xi's also had a variant of the bumper listed first here in this thread. It has the small driving lights but a different center grill, a bit shorter. And some of the trim on the center grill was either black or chrome(plastic).

This is what's on my 05 xi w/ Sport pack. I assume mine is original, but not 100% sure.

A buddy just bought an 03 xi non Sport pack and it has the same as first pic w/ the small fog lamps.Click image for larger version

Yours is what's called M-Tech, and it came on all non-ZHP 330 sports.

Thanks Vick. All the threads I came across trying to identify were too old to show pics.

Yeah I like that front bumper but they are getting up in cost and figuring to replace the fogs which most likely would be tired looking at this age will set you back.

Correct. This is mine. The splitters to the lower section may have been chrome in some. Mine are painted. I'm considering wrapping them.
