I was a bit tossed off by it. Buddy and I are up here hanging out with some Canadian girls we met in Cabo. They keep inviting their friends out so there are us two and like 8 girls. It's insane, there all hot, they have hot friends, but they aren't sloots. They all live with their parents too..at the age of 25 as an American I find it odd but again, the rest of the world does it so maybe we are the weird ones.

Maybe the game is just different up here. In the states, you talk to a hot girl and feed her drinks and get her to come home with you. Here, where do you take the girl..to your room at your parents house?

Personally I understand WHY everyone else in the world lives at home until marriage but as an American, I love having my own place. Our culture vary on that regard, but like what do Canadian girls do? Do you just take one home to your parents house? I'm staying in northern Downtown and I couldn't imagine not living down here and bringing girls back..its my own ignorance to the game.

And yes, the girls are more conservative, but the society is more liberal and polite and clean.

Fracking love Canada, just got back from the HHOF. This place trumps Ottawa way out, MTL and VAN are next.

Good eats --> college has a lot of good restaurants. We usually go out on College and then walk over to the shawarma place which is 24/7. Depending on where you stay, the west end has a lot of places I am familiar with.

Canadas Wonderland was a **** hole the last time I was there, I refuse to go back.
Im 34 and the GF is 33. I might actually stay with a friend in London but every day Im sure I will be traveling to Toronto. I am staying a few nights at the Hilton right around from the Four Seasons Opera House (since I have tickets to a few shows). Im trying to do something every night. I promised the GF's little girl that I would take her to Canada's Wonderland so that's why Im going . My hair might be graying out but I can party my ass off. I want to hit up as many BMW/MINI meets as possible also.
Long story short is I am trying to move up to Toronto (or around there) to be with my girl.

Chicago is bigger than Toronto and has a vastly better waterfront.

I love my city  For the exact reasons you've outlined. There is so much to see and do in Toronto on any given day. Nothing beats a day in the downtown core or waterfront patios and partying at night. I love it. My biggest gripe with major US cities is that once you go 45-50minutes out of the city core, you end up in the boonies! I hate that. In the Greater Toronto Area, you can drive for almost 2 hours+ in any direction and still have big cities with even MORE to see and do. I think LA and/or NY may be the only other two that can compare in that regard.

Did you really just say you dislike the immediate presence of nature surrounding most us cities? .

That's a city boy for ya. I love that about Ontario. You can either live in the city, or in the country on the outskirts, and have access to the best of both.

Not necessarily. My fiancee lives in Whitby (40 minutes out of Toronto), and although it has a small city area, most of it is empty farm land...

The one thing I hate about Canada: All the roads are straight... dead straight for miles (kilometers). No fun twisty roads to go through.

Toronto...any weekend thursday to sunday there is something to do . I love it . You can have the biggest city in the world but if there is nothing to do then its pointless. Fun city because there is something you can do if youre bored.

Like what, go to clubs/pubs and overpay to get hammered?

There are good eats and plenty of good hangouts, but I'm curious as to what some of these "to do" activities you're referring to, actually are.

It's not "normal" for a 25 y/o to live with their parents in Canada either...maybe you need to ask these girls for some ID's haha

No, you buy your own place & take her there.

So all the young professional guys own places and the girls don't? Are they waiting to be picked up or something? In the states, you are out by age 23 period.

There are 6 of us, the oldest is a 25 y.o. Canadian and she has me by 6 months. It's funny cause almost everyone I have met that lives here lives at home LOL..but again, like most of the world, it's just different to me.

The rules to "the game" don't seem the same here. The girls are WAY nicer and prettier, but it seems more Conservative than the states, its not nearly as slutty as in the states. I love the sex of the states, and the conversation of Canadian girls lol.

Defiantly support life in TO compared to anywhere in the states, esp. Chicago which I love due to the sports, the people, and the culture all together.

So since I am going to be in TO in like 2 weeks...How about everyone post up things to do and places to eat. Anything. And Im trying to be serious here. Because I have went to the sites listed on here and have written down a few things and googled the hell out of TO but havent come up with much. I have 60-something days there and WILL NOT be sitting at home. I will go walk around the block like some stalker if I have to...lol.
