We pulled Fuse 61 before my track day yesterday at PIR to disable DSC. This worked perfect and the ABS still worked. The DSC light always stays on after the fuse is pulled and the DSC never chops the throttle.
My E46 M3 is a 2002. I'm pretty sure this will probably work for all E46 M3's. Can someone else test this and verify?
push and hold your dsc button. ...until a yellow brake light comes on.
We e46nonMs from 01-06 have a two-stage dsc
you're leaving traction control on if the light isn't off
I wanna disable mine permanently as well. what should I do? abs and the dsc I wanna control my car not the conputer and dont wanna have to press the buttom every time. lol.
I know this is an old post, but needs a followup..
M3, disconnect front RIGHT speed sensor only, Wala, DSC and ABS and traction control off.. but still full power full rpm, and speedo works..
(can be done on ground, no lift or jack needed, takes 2 minutes!)
Took me a day of testing to get it figured out..
Pulling REAR SENSOR = NO SPEEDO
Disconnect master plug on abs it self = many codes errors, rpm limit, this and that..
Wanted to share... for others that find this here post when searching..
I just removed fuse 61 for DSC and it disabled ABS and I read on the fuse chart it shouldn’t disable abs only DSC witch is traction control and stability control
I’m confused about the other fuses tho I had a look at the fuse chart and it has like 8 different fuses just for DSC are u meant to pull all 8 fuses for DSC or only the last fuse
