Overheating in hot weather (Throwing engine code)

So it got to about 40 degrees C where i am the other day, and my 323ci threw an engine code.
I recently got the expansion tank and 2 hoses replaced, so i don't believe there are any leaks.
The temps usually stay dead centre of the gauge (IDK what temp that is) and It doesn't go any further.

I'm looking into getting a code reader when it gets warmer, and see whats going on, but does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.
