Bought winter wheels and tires(PSA)....

It was actually tough finding 7 inch by 17 inch wheels for the car. A couple of them have some slight rash, but not bad(Style 137's). Need to de-tar the insides. Ordered a set of Conti Winter Contacts.
We're supposed to get a bad winter this year out in the PNW. Even if we don't, I'd rather be prepared.
Regards

I put a fresh set of of General Arctics on my car last winter and it barely snowed here in Wisconsin. But like you at least I was prepared.

Nice, we had General Arctics on our E36. I would have gone with that tire, but they gave me a great price on the Conti. The Arctic's were an amazing tire, and I think the current owners are still using them. The temps are dropping below freezing here already. I usually don't put them on this early here(PNW), but it usually does not get this cold, this fast(usually install sometime Nov.).
The black ice combo-ed with wet leafs/needles(fur/cedar, etc...) here is exceedingly dangerous.

Our weather is turning colder this weekend with a possibility of near freezing temps and snow flurries. I'll still wait on installing snows till I'm sure I'll need them. My e36 might stay inside this winter.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta snows are a good choice. I had an e30 325ix and would just go out sledding with those snows. You can get them studded too.
