Nah. Whatever the opposite of "living vicariously" is--standing off to the side watching a train wreck, maybe?

Whenever I feel bad about my life, I come here and immediately feel better. It works faster than watching Jerry Springer reruns.

Nothing like a trip to Walmart for a good pick-me-up.

Stand your ground OP!! Drive her to the airport now, next thing you know she'll start demanding you help with the dishes or some other bullshit! Tell her she can hitchhike for all you care if she wants to go gallavanying around Europe for months on end.

The pussification of America continues unabated. Can we get some Men's Rights Advocates up in here?

Funny you mention this. I had to pick up my gf from the airport at 1130pm 2 hours away from home. At this moment I knew I didn't want her to be my gf because I am the "do anything for people I care about type". We were done a few weeks later. I should have been waiting there with open arms and I just didn't give a single fuuck.

A considerate gf would not ask you to pick her up from an airport 2 hours away
Wtf
You should be flying that extra distance
Not drive

this is the dumbest thing you've said Ed. A good girl friend wouldn't have to ask her bf to do this. He would just do it. So instead of pick her up I should have made her sleep there and get a bus/train/flight back to her home town?
