FS: Carbon8 E46 Sedan Carbon Fiber Roof Cap (for Sunroof Models)

SOLD

New— Open Box
1 Available Only

Available for purchase is my Carbon8 BMW E46 Sedan carbon fiber roof cap for sunroof models. It is new but out of its original packaging. Please note the roof cap is not installed in the photos and only placed on my roof for the purpose of the sale ad—smudges in reflection are from handling and wipe off. This is discontinued and extremely difficult to find. It installs onto your factory metal roof with either automotive grade molding tape or panel bonding adhesive. I bought this with the intention of using it on my own E46 Sedan race car but have decided it was better suited for a street or show car.

Will fit 01-05 BMW E46 325i, 328i, and 330i Sedan Models with Sunroofs ONLY!

Panel Thickness: 4-5mm*
Weight: 6-8lbs*
Dimensions: 53”x41”*

So it adds weight, negating the effects of carbon fiber?

But it looks cool. Functionless fashion.

Essentially yes, definitely more of a vanity piece than it is for any performance gain. I bought it thinking maybe I could cut some of the metal from the factory roof then cap it off with this carbon skin but quite honestly not worth the effort for saving maybe a few pounds? It belongs on a street or show car.
