Dinan Wheel Center Caps

Hey guys,

So after getting sick of trying to hunt a few of these down; I used some overseas contacts and some 3d printing/prototyping and had a short run set of reproduction E39/E46 (I think they are the same) Dinan center caps. They are made out of metal with a plastic backing/clips just like the original ones. Not looking to make any money or start a business - just want to see if anyone else wants / needs any of these for their wheels. The more I order the cheaper they are. Currently in < 10 it's $90 each - I ordered 4. Anyone else need some?

I've got 4 people in for a set of 4 - so we're in to the $70/each range now.

Wow; all of these went pretty quick - someone even convinced me to sell them MY set - so I had to make another order. Just putting this up in case someone finds themselves in need.

Dinan Center Caps

triksterut,

I will take a set of four! I recently realized one of mine is missing. You are awesome for taking the time to have some of these made. I contacted Dinan direct and they didn't have any left in their stock after Champion went out of business. They did however send me a pdf of the autocad drawing. I can send it to you if you want it?

I will look forward to your response! Talk to you soon!

Barrett,

Just a note that I have sold every one of these I had - I was even sweet talked out of the set I had made for myself, which was my only goal lol. I made another order and have some more if anyone needs them. Lots of happy campers from what I've gotten back.

I purchased a set of center caps from OP. Very easy transaction. Received the caps within 3 days.

The caps are very well made, milled from solid billet aluminum. The brush the finish is beautiful. They are also lightweight. The dimensions are spot on. OP even improved the mounting mechanism. The original Dinan caps use a plastic clip that's glued to the back of the cap with double sided tape. The tape deteriorates overtime. The clip and cap could separate resulting lost cap. OP's design uses a rubber o-ring to secure the cap snuggly. The cap is not going anywhere

I highly recommend these caps. I even suggested the OP make some BMW logo OE sized caps. I'd be personally interested to buy. I included a couple of pictures. I had planned to paint the caps to match my gloss black Dinan wheels. But I really like the brushed surface and decided to just run them as they are.

Thanks OP for contributing to the community!

Hey all,

Had a few more people order the last ones of these I had laying around. Someone even sweet talked me out of the set I had for myself. So I'm going to order a few more to have on hand.

Just got some more in yesterday; back-order's going out tomorrow. I ordered a lot more than normal because these seem to go pretty fast. Hit me up if you need a set.
